Customer Background

The customer specializes in distribution and logistics for a variety of end users. They manage the storage, tracking, and cleaning of returnable dunnage, including totes, trays, plastic skids, and other containers.

Challenge

The customer was looking for a large, versatile system for cleaning a wide variety of returnable totes. The cleaning system needed to be able to process both box style containers as well as skid and pallet style dunnage without the need for equipment changeover. The customer required that the machine be easily accessible for maintenance and inspection.

Solution

An Aquamaster CB-4800 dual-lane conveyorized dunnage cleaning machine system with wash, intermediate blowoff, rinse, intermediate blowoff, and heated blowoff modules was provided. The dunnage washer system included two product lanes allowing the customer to run both plastic totes and trays simultaneously. The Alliance patented “Full-Access” canopy design was included for maximum interior access for maintenance and inspection. A custom paint scheme was used.
