Leading manufacturer of engineered products and systems for use in cryogenic and heat transfer applications. Their markets include energy/chemical, industrial gases, and bio-medical. Their focus is on providing environmentally-friendly products at a low cost.


Customer was seeking a washing system for extruded aluminum bars of varying sizes. Bars were contaminated with machine coolant, oils, and chips from manufacturing, and needed to be visually clean and as dry as possible. They requested a variable-speed conveyor.

Alliance provided an Aquamaster CB-2400E conveyorized parts washing system with heated wash, heated rinse, and ambient blowoff modules. The machine included a variable speed conveyor drive, which is standard on all Alliance conveyorized belt parts cleaning systems.  Standard belt configuration is a 1” x 1” mesh; customer opted for a tighter-than-standard ½” x 1” conveyor mesh.  In addition, the customer requested an elevated conveyor height for interface with other equipment. The conveyor is extended at the unload end for a generous unloading area. Alliance’s patented “FulAcess” removable canopy segments offer easy access to the interior for maintenance and process adjustment.  The heated blowoff module is equipped with high-velocity air knives above and below the conveyor for striping moisture from parts.  The upper air knives are adjustable for varying product heights.  The lower knives include air dampers for adjusting the air flow.  A customer-specified conductivity analyzer was included in the design for process water monitoring.  Other optional accessories included an exhaust fan system, belt-type oil skimmer, and stainless steel filter chambers. Custom paint colors were also provided.
