A leader in manufacturing and managing transport packaging for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. The organization provides reusable plastic containers, tracking and visibility systems, recycling services and logistics from 12 North American locations; other divisions have a major presence in Europe.

Challenge

The customer required an in-line machine to clean a variety of soils from large plastic pallets and related packaging components at a rate of up to 80 per hour. The machine was to be manually loaded and unloaded at an ergonomic elevation, and be equipped with a customer-specified solution filtration system.

Solution

Alliance provided the customer with an Aquamaster CB-1400E conveyorized pallet/dunnage cleaning system. The machine utilizes a stainless steel conveyor system with adjustable product guides to orient the pallets vertically. Strategically positioned conveyor elevation transitions, used in conjunction with the air knives, were engineered to aid in the removal of moisture.
