Step 1 - Gas vs. Electric Heating, Estimated Payback Analysis Many parts washer manufacturers offer electric, gas and steam options for solution and blowoff heating, depending upon the machine configuration and size. Gas and electric heating systems are the most common. Gas systems require high efficiency burners, flame safety controls, and stainless steel immersion tubes, which usually equate to added upfront capital cost.
